Results: Scott is widely regarded as one of California’s most successful trial lawyers, having tried several dozen cases to verdict as lead counsel where he obtained multiple 8-figure judgments and recovered in excess of $500 million.  A recognized expert on trial strategy, he lectures frequently at CLE seminars.

Awards: Scott has been featured on the cover of the California Daily Journal as the state’s “Top Attorney Under Age 40” and is consistently identified as a “Top 100 SuperLawyer” in Southern California.

Practice Focus: Scott develops precedent at the intersection of law and technology, with particular focus on cases involving websites.  He was the first attorney in the country to obtain a judgment holding a defendant liable for failing to make its website accessible to individuals with disabilities, the first to establish liability for privacy violations involving website chat features, and has pioneered emerging theories of liability involving internet tracking pixels.  Finally, he has created substantial appellate precedent regarding personal jurisdiction, the California Invasion of Privacy Act, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.  

Interests: Scott has completed over 20 half and full marathons. He spends his free time swimming on the Big Island of Hawaii and skiing in Big Sky Montana with his wife and three young children.
